Client: DS Executive Travel Services Industry: Executive Chauffeur Hire, Private Transport

The Challenge

When David reached out, his website was a single page built on GoDaddy Website Builder. It had been live for a while but had barely moved on since it was first put up. A G Wagon Hire page existed only as an unused domain purchase, and the rest of the site was one page trying to cover every service he offered.

David runs a genuinely premium chauffeur service. Thirty four years in passenger transport, IAM RoSPA Gold qualified (the highest civilian driving standard in the UK), a qualified assessor for the Guild of Professional Chauffeurs, and approved for Royal Household and US Embassy work. None of that was reflected online.

He was worried that a bare-bones website made his fleet and standards look ordinary next to competitors, some of whom were leaning on stock photography rather than showing their own cars and drivers.

He also had no real way to capture booking enquiries properly. Details were coming in by phone or screenshot, which had already led to at least one mix up over a return flight date. And he wanted the site to actually rank for the terms that mattered to him: airport travel, chauffeur hire, weddings, proms and executive hire, across Swansea and West Wales specifically, rather than competing with Cardiff based companies who had a natural advantage on airport mileage.

His website needed to:

  • Give each service its own dedicated page, so it had a genuine chance to rank for its own search terms, rather than one page competing for everything at once
  • Reflect his credentials and fleet properly, so the site matched the standard of the service he actually delivers
  • Include a structured enquiry form that captures exact journey and flight details up front, reducing the risk of manual booking errors
  • Provide clear example pricing across each service, so visitors had a starting point without pinning him to a single fixed rate
  • Target Swansea and West Wales specifically for local SEO, rather than competing head-on with Cardiff based operators

What We Did

Using WordPress and Divi 5, I rebuilt the site from the ground up on my hosting, then migrated it across to the live domain with no disruption to his existing enquiries.

  • Built dedicated pages for Airport Transfers, Weddings, Proms, Corporate Travel, G Wagon Hire and Bentley Hire, each targeting its own local key phrase
  • Wrote individual fleet pages covering the three Mercedes V Class vehicles, the Mercedes Estate, the G Wagon (the only licensed G Wagon chauffeur hire in the UK) and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur
  • Built a structured enquiry form capturing pickup and return details, flight numbers and passenger numbers, with a clear disclaimer that submitting the form is not a confirmed booking
  • Set example pricing across every service page, including airport transfers from £90, weddings and proms from £200 per car, and corporate travel from £50 per hour
  • Installed SEO foundations across the full site, with meta titles, descriptions and keyphrases targeting Swansea and West Wales for airport travel, chauffeur hire, weddings, proms and executive hire
  • Rebuilt email handling using Brevo and WP Mail SMTP, so enquiries reliably reach the business inbox rather than getting lost

The Result

David now has a website that properly reflects the business he has actually built.

  • A fully structured, multi-page site, with every service given its own page and its own chance to rank
  • A modern, mobile-responsive website that works smoothly across all devices
  • SEO foundations in place across the whole site, targeting the exact search terms and locations he asked for
  • A proper enquiry form that captures full journey and flight details, cutting down the risk of the errors that come from screenshots and phone calls
  • Clear example pricing on every service page
  • A site that shows off his fleet, his credentials, and his experience
  • Analytics he can understand and use

What I Learned

This project was a reminder that a website upgrade is not always about starting from a blank page. Sometimes it is about giving a business that already has real substance, real credentials, and a genuinely excellent fleet, somewhere online that actually does it justice.

David had built something properly impressive over thirty-four years. His previous site was not telling that story. Structuring the site around individual services, capturing his credentials properly, and giving him a booking form that actually works meant every part of the rebuild had a clear purpose behind it.

It was a pleasure working with someone so proud of what he has built, and it was a genuinely satisfying project to bring the website up to the same standard as the service.
