I just had a conversation with one of my therapy clients and they said… “Business is very very slow at the moment too. Thinking I may do some more training to offer something new? Just a thought.”
Here’s my answer…
From my own experience, it’s NOT more training you need to be spending your time and money on, it’s marketing the skills you already have that will bring in the clients.
But by marketing the solutions that your therapies offer and not the therapies themselves.
When people are lying in bed at 3am worrying about xxx, they generally will google “how to relieve xxx” or words similar to that and not the words reflexology or massage or facials. Your therapies are your tools. Unless your potential clients know that reflexology can help with xxx they will not be googling reflexology!
What problems do you help your clients with?
- Fertility Issues
- Bad backs
- Etc etc etc
When you know what problems you help with, write blogs on how you can help with those problems. And then write posts on them too and share them many times on Facebook/Instagram etc.
Then rinse and repeat
Become known as a problem solver and you will become the expert that attracts clients.
Rather than having yet another therapy to add to your toolbox which costs you time and money and still doesn’t guarantee you clients.
Business slow? Then spend time and effort learning how to market your existing business and skillset
